Tree Surgery & Arboricultural Services
We cover all aspects of tree care and/or removal. All of our work is carried out to BS3998, which is the British Standard for Tree Work. The services we offer include, but are not limited to:
- Tree Felling – Cutting down a tree whole, where it stands.
- Tree Dismantling – Removal of trees that cannot be felled. This usually involves climbing the tree or other means of access.
- Tree Pruning – To include Crown Lifting or Branch Removal for natural light and/or safety purposes.
- Tree Reduction – Similar to Tree Pruning, but on a larger scale. Usually making a tree smaller to increase natural light.
- Dead Wood Removal – To clean the tree of dead wood, highly recommended for trees with walkways or paths underneath.
- Storm Damaged Trees – We can offer advice and solutions for trees that have been damaged by bad extreme weather conditions.
- Garden Clearance – This can include removal of all tree and hedge waste.
Hedge Cutting Services
Different hedges require different amounts of maintenance, as well as different techniques when trimming or cutting. We are very happy to discuss and arrange a maintenance schedule for your hedges if required. The services we offer include, but are not limited to:
- Hedge Cutting – For small and medium sized hedges of all types. Not keeping up to date with the required maintenance of certain species can result in irreparable changes in size / shape / colour and can sometimes result in hedges needing to be removed.
- Large Hedge Cutting – As above, but on a larger scale! Some very large hedges can require the use of special equipment, climbing and sometimes even use of a chainsaw as part of the maintenance work required.
- Hedge Reshaping – Maybe your hedge needs to be shorter, or more narrow? Or maybe it’s always been cut square and you would like it with rounded corners? We can help alter the shape of your hedges with regular work.
- Hedge Removal – We are happy to discuss the need to remove a hedge, as well as looking at what options you may have to go in its place.
- Hedge Planting – Some species grow faster than others, whilst some grow thicker than others. Some require less maintenance and others are easier to shape. We can discuss your options and provide hedge solution you want and need.
